According to my dad, Rudolph left home traveled the world and ended up in Seattle with a family. He died in a logging accident, leaving a wife and a daughter. After my dad died, I was contacted by mail, from someone in California, who was related to Rudolph. Turns out Rudolph had gotten married in Calif before being married in Washington. He divorced the first wife and left the area, not knowing she was with child (or knowing). There was an Allen Schluep... not sure if it was Rudolph's son or grandson. I think I have the letter at home. I want to say it was the Santa Barbara area, but not sure. [Joe Schluep]
