Rudolph was probably born in Zurich, Switzerland, since his father did not arrive in America until 1736. His mother was Anna Baer, daughter of Hans Jacob Jagley Bar Baer (1676-1759) and Anna Barbara Frederick (1680-1759). Anna married Hans Baer 26 Nov 1721 in Ober-Wetzikon, Zurich, Switzerland and died 1730 in Lancaster or Somerset County, Pennsylvania. (See Ancestry.com)
