Janesville - Ruby E. Holliday, age 80, of Cedar Crest, 1700 S. River Rd., died Thursday, August 25, 1988, at Mercy Hospital. She was born at Wausau, WI, on Oct. 13 1907, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Maas. She graduated from Milton College, where she met her late husband, Walter W. Holliday. They were married in 1929. She assisted her husband in his pastoral work until his retirement in 1962. In 1966 they became administrators of Cedar Crest Retirement Home. In 1969 they joined the home as permanent residents. Walter Holliday died July 24, 1988.
She is survived by a son, Roger (Janice) of Palo Alto, CA; a daughter, Charlene (Pattu) Durairaj of Rockville, MD; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Charlotte Petri of Milwaukee and 1 brother, Franklin Maas of Portage, WI.
