Roy said that his Aunt "Ella" ZANG once offered to hire him to work on her cherry farm on Old Mission Peninsula. Roy earned his living in sales & construction. Roy is the one who provided the postcard size portrait of his grandfather, Charles ZANG. Roy confessed that it was he, taking out his anger, who blackened in the eyes on it. He claimed he hated most all the ZANG men, his uncles who were all drunks & his grandfather. Roy once was a lumberjack in northern Michigan. He retired at Houghton Lake, MI after working for City of Saginaw. 13 Feb 1989 Roy travelled from Houghton Lake w/girlfriend, to Buckley, Wexford co, MI to meet and visit Corey Janene MARENTETTE. |
