Stuckmeyer (nee Young), dear father of Elaine Huett, Roy R. , Raymond, and Richard Stuckmeyer, dear grandfather, great - grandfather, and friend. Funeral Service Wed., 1pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery in lieu of flowers , memorials to the Lions Eye Tissue Bank. Arrangements by Bryson Funeral Home of Pilot Knob, MO. (St. Louis Post Dispatch Obituary) Roy Edward Stuckmeyer, 79, of Lesterville passed away Friday, April 28, 1995 at the Poplar Bluff Veteran Hospital. He was born August 17, 1915 in St. Louis to Roy H Stuckmeyer and Birdie Schmidt. On July 9, 1932 he was united in marriage to Virginia Louise Young. Roy was a maintenance foreman for the US Government and a member of the Lutheran Church, Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge 2330 and the Lesterville Lion's Club. He also served in the US Navy during World War II. Roy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Virgina Stuckmeyer of Lesterville, four children, Elaine Huett of Piedmont, Roy R Stuckmeyer of Rock Falls, IL, Raymond Stuckmeyer of Florissant, and Richard Stuckmeyer of Lesterville, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Service were held Wednesday, May 3rd at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in St. Louis with the Rev. Boyd Huett officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery with all arrangements under the direction of Bryson Funeral Home.
