1) Article in Bath Times (or Times Record) re DOT plan to create new downtown traffic flow plan. Roy comments on loss of parking spots. Not dated (but apparently April 1979 based on letters to the editor). 2) Bath Brunswick Times Record, 10/3/1993, p. 1: Article re Roy's Market, provides history of store. Roy took over in 1967 with brother Carl Earlebach. Roy's had three locations - 1940 moved across Washington St. (that was days of "Ma Richter" who "ruled store with an iron fist" per Carl. Was once a full service grocery store with free delivery. In 1959 brick building for store was built and old store demolished. Also Charlie Burgess worked for them for 10 years before opening own market. Photo with article shows flood on Washington St (seen from Vine) due to poor drainage. Photo dated 11/30/1944, taken by Douglas. 3) Bath Times, between 1945-1948, Central Grammer School. Roy Richter Jr on winning basketball team. Central Grammer went up to 8th grade.
