Ogemaw County Herald, West Branch, Ogemaw Co., MI, West Branch, Ogemaw Co., MI June 26, 1980 "Meir, Roy Raymond Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Holy Family Church for Roy Raymond Meir, 66, of Klacking Township who died Sunday, June 22, at Gratiot Community Hospital of Alma. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery following services officiated by the Rev. Gordon Garshe. Mr. Meir was a member of the Knights of Columbus Lodge and the Moose Lodge of West Branch. He was former supervisor in Klacking Township, and lived in Ogemaw most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Ann; mother, Caroline Meir of West Branch; on son Conrad of West Branch; six daughters, Mrs. John (Barbara) Morlock of Camdenton, Mrs. Ruben (Margaret) Arceo of Flint, Mrs Don (Lois) DeLong of San Diego, Miss Julie Meir of Santa Barbara, Mrs. John (Mary Jane) Schnautz of Rose City; and Mrs. Wesley (Rose Marie) Carr of Laurel, Maryland; 11 grandchildren; and five sisters."
