Roy Joseph Loughner, widely known as Pops, was born October 21,1952 in Bay City, Mi. to Geraldine and Roy Loughner. He passed away on February 24, 2024 at 2:48 pm after his battle with his various health conditions came to an end. He passed quietly in his sleep at his home in Goshen, IN. surrounded by loved ones. He is proceeded in death by both parents, three brothers Mike, Steven, John and a granddaughter Nimaway. He retired from Foamcraft after 13 years of loyal service which to his credit was only one of his many professions along with what he called a great adventure.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend of 28 years Tippi Hooten along with his siblings Connie, Laura, Nora, Tina, Ed, his children Ian, Deanna, Jamie, Eric, Emily, Elisha, Tiffany and he always joked probably a few he didn’t even know about, not to mention he was a father figure to Ashlin, Roy, and Ray in addition to being a grandfather and great grandfather to a plethora of children. He was an avid collector of many things, a great lover of music and a very in-depth storyteller who will be deeply missed by many.
