He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Staley King.
He was survived by his wife, the former Emma Krumrine and three children; Mrs. Ralph Beachtel, Littlestown; Gordon and Fern King at home; a grandson Paul Beachtel and these brothers and sisters, Mrs. Anna Rohrbaugh and Mrs. Howard Wherley, Littlestown; Mrs. Leslie Rexrote, Baltimore and George King, Littlestown.
Mr. King served on the Germany township school board as director for 18 years. He was secretary to the board until July 1 when he resigned due to ill health.
