Age 82, of Albion, daughter of the late Richard and Edna Rickard Woomer.
Carole worked as an assembler at Penn Union. She enjoyed playing dominoes, doing arts and crafts, and solving crossword puzzles and word scrambles.
In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her husband, James Loughner, and two sisters, Joyce McCann and Phyllis "Gail" Hursh.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Brown and her husband, Frank, of Russell, Pa., and Denise Stout, of Albion; one son, Douglas Loughner, of Corry, Pa.; eight sisters and brothers, Dolores Lunn, of Adamsburg, Pa., Idella Faye Woomer, of Albion, Linda Krolczyk and her husband, Steve, of Albion, Cleveland Woomer and his wife, Kathy, of Girard, Pa., Richard Woomer of Albion, Harry Woomer and his wife, Linda, of Albion, Cynthia Carr and her husband, Dennis, of East Springfield, Pa., and Jackie Delong and her husband, Jim, of Albion. Also surviving are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
