obit Traverse City Morning Record April, 1921 Dies at son's home--Mrs. Roxie Lindsey, eighty one years of age, died Wednesday at the home of her son O. W. Lindsey 617 East Front Street. Mrs. Lindsey was previous to her marriage, Roxie Phelps and was born in Ingham County (MI) June 3, 1840. she was united in marriage to Jefferson Lindsey August 9, 1855, and to this union were born seven children, three of whom died in infancy, a son Charles Lindsey passing away when thirty-five years of age. Left to mourn their loss are two sons, George and Oren of Traverse City, one daughter, Mrs. Frank Beckwith of Williamsburg, besides six grandchildren and four great granchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Williamsburg church and burial will be made in the Williamsburg cemetery.
