    In the 1900 US Census, Roxie has 4 children born and 4 living. Only three are found in the family.  The name of the other child is unknown. The 1910 US Census shows Roxie with 5 children born and 1 living, but there are two sons in the family, Marcus and Jesse, and son Reggie is living with his uncle Andrew Calvert and family in Washita County, Oklahoma, where he is listed as a nephew.  Thus, the 1910 Census is in error, since Roxie has at least 3 children living then.  It appears the enumerator may have listed the number of children deceased instead of the number living. Roxie's middle initial comes from the 1910 US Census.
