- 22 Sept. 1836 David Snowden Vs James McGuire chancery, on 27 April 1825, that James McGuire and Jacob Miller entered in writing that on 20 May 1826, Jacob Miller sold to Snowden a tract of 12 acres that Miller was entitled to under the agreement, the bounds was well known by James McGuire that Jacob Miller died leaving these heirs, Jacob Miller Jr., John Miller, George Miller, the children and heirs of Mary "Polly" Gray who was the daughter of Jacob Miller, towit. John Gray, Silas Gray, Nancy Crawford wife of Joseph Crawford, Polly Richardson wife of Joseph Richardson. Elizabeth "Betsy" Stufflebeam wife of William Stufflebeam, Sarah Cordell wife of James Cordell, Alcey Chambers wife of James Chambers, Nancy Ross wife of James Ross, Peggy Wilkerson wife of Ross Wilkerson and Priscillia Miller.
