- ↑ Voncille Thomas, 89, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Fannin County, died April 20, 2007.
Born on Nov. 28, 1917, in Ty Ty, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Alvah Grady Craig, Sr. and the late Ezie Jane Turner Craig. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the New Hope (Flint Hill) Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter Teresa Willis of Dayton; sister Charlote Stiles of Blue Ridge; brother and sister-in-law A. G. and Pauline Craig of Dayton; grandson Jeff Watson of Dayton; granddaughter Robin Sizemore of Dayton; great-grandchildren Alec Watkins and Wyatte Sizemore; niece Diane Emrick; nephews Steve Craig and David Stiles; great-nephews Craig Stiles and Spencer Stiles; stepdaughter Reba Thompson of Blue Ridge; and stepson Johnny Thomas of Mableton, Ga.
Funeral services were held April 26 from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ernest German, and the Rev. Scott Baugh officiating. Music was by Alice Centers.
Pallbearers included Robert Turner, Darwin Turner, David Stiles, Luther Patterson, Clifford Davenport and Kenny Queen.
Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park.
