Rose Mae Stone 

    Rose Mae Stone, 95, Warrensburg, MO, died on Friday, April 11, 1997 at Ridge Crest Nursing Center there.
    Rose was born on Jan. 4, 1902, in Braymer, MO, the daughter of Thomas A. and Emma (Schneiter) Tye.  She was a 1920 graduate of Braymer High School and was a school teacher before she married.  She lived in Johnson County for over 40 years.  She was of the Methodist faith.
    She married George W. Stone on July 1, 1933, in Chillicothe, MO.  He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1978.
    Survivors include a son-Roger of Kansas City, MO, and two grandsons.
    The funeral was held on April 14 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Hamilton.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the nursing home.
