Rose Ann married Soloman Dillman 8/26/1854 in Decatur county, Indiana. Soloman had previously married Rebecca Webb. 1850 census Decatur co, IN. Four children were born between 1855 and 1860 and all of them died before reaching the age of 3 years. Soloman died in May of 1861 in Bartholomew co, IN. It appears Rose Ann headed to McLean county, Illinois to be with her sister, Sarah and her husband, John Land. Once Rose Ann arrived in McLean county, Illinois she married Eliel Thomas Willhite in 1862. The name in the marriage record is Rosetta Dillman. Eliel's first wife had died the previous year. The 1870 census of McLean county has Thomas Wilhoit, Rosetta his wife and a daughter Sophia age 6.
