Center Township biography lists Rosanna's last name as "Foster", a native of CT. Fred Graham is convinced that Rosanna is the child of Josiah and Marian Foster, who registered their children when they arrived in Vermont. When Josiah died Marian, his widow, remarried to Eliakem Demming. As Marian's children were underage, they assumed the surname of their new father. Fred continues, noting that four of Rosanna's daughters came to Delaware county, IN as she did about 1829 perhaps with brothers John & Lewis. Rosanna rests in the Mt. Tabor cemetery, Row 4, Delaware county, IN. 7/14/2004

The 1850 & 1860 Delaware county census shows Rosannah is living with her daughter Nancy. In 1860 the census was taken about a month before she passed.

Grave location- 34', 39.306" N and 111', 47.814" W in Mt. Tabor cemetery.
