Rosamond "Rose" A. Poissant, 94, of Little Falls and Brainerd, formerly of St. Cloud, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village. She was born Nov. 12, 1904, in Stewart to Bernard and Josephine (Forcier) May. She was a member of Christian Mothers and St. Mathias and St. Francis Catholic Churches. Survivors include two sons, Wallace Poissant, Mesa, Ariz., and Irving H. Poissant, Cold Spring; a daughter, Mary Koering, Fort Ripley; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond May, Brainerd; and a sister, Frances Doucette, Brainerd. Her husband, Wilfred, two sons, Kenneth Poissant and John Poissant, two grandchildren; two sisters, Winnifred May and Florence Moran, and two brother, Lawrence May and Fred May. died earlier. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mathias Catholic Church with Father Seamus Walsh officiating. Burial will be in St. Mathias Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, with a parish rosary service at 7 p.m.
