Daily Times-News, The Thursday, May 14, 1970 ALAMANCE Mrs.. Rosa Ella SHOFFNER MAY, 65, a Alamance, died in a Burlington hospital this morning at o'clock after four weeks of illness . A native of Alamance County she was the daughter of the late R.B. and Ella SHOFFNER. She was a member of Alamance Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, JOHNny A. MAY of the home; two sisters, Mrs.. K.E Overman Sr. of Overman Dr., Burlington, and Mrs.. C.E. MAY of Alamance; and two brothers, L E. SHOFFNER of Alamance and Glen R. SHOFFNER of Rt. 1, Burlington. The body will remain at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington pending completion of funeral arrangements.
