  15. Farmington -- Ronald A. Henderson, 87, of 157 North Wall Street, Farmington, died at 11:15 p.m. Friday at his residence.
    Born October 4, 1914 in Chicago, the son of Alexander and Ellen (Boring) Henderson, he married Elizabeth Thrall, MD, on March 6, 1943 in Urbana University of Illinois Wesley Foundation. She survives.
    Other survivors include two sons, Harold (Sandra) Henderson of Laporte, Ind. and Rick (Maricela) Henderson of San Jose, Calif.; three daughters, Laura Henderson (Jim Hunt) of Michigan City, Ind., Sarah Henderson (Jolynn Nelson), with whom she makes her home of Minneapolis, Minn. and Lois (Robert) Sullivan of Fairbanks, Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by one sister.
    He was a member of the Farmington Unived Methodist Church and a member of the church choir for 40 years. [should be 49]
    He taught in Pine Mountain, Ky., and Paxton, Ill. He retired after teaching 29 years at Farmington High School as a math and science teacher.
    He was a member of the Peoria Astronomical Society, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and organized the Scholastic Bowl Team for Farmington High School for 20 years. [more than 20]
    Cremation Rites will be accorded. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Farmington United Methodist Church, the Rev. Joe Richard officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington.
    Memorials may be made to his church.
