    Roma J. (Schleeter) Rauhauser, 86, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at the York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles M. Rauhauser. Born April 19, 1927, in York, she was the daughter of the late Henry Albert and Ruth (Whitekettle) Schleeter. Roma was a former operator for the York Telephone Company and later was employed with Sears and Danskin, Inc. She was a graduate of North York High School. Roma was a member of the First Baptist Church of York. She was also a member of the Golden Nuggets of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a volunteer at the St. Mary's Thrift Shop. She loved sewing and crafting. She is survived by three sons, Gregg and his wife, Barbara Doll of Hastings, Pa, Mark and his wife, Patricia Doll of York, and Thad Rauhauser and his partner, Steven Schafer of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; a daughter, Robin Doll of York; six grandchildren, Jack Graybill, II, Stacy Demangone, Heather Doll, Kelly Licari, Zachary Doll and Penelope Doll; five great-grandchildren, Zachary and Mackenzie Licari, Alyssa and Hayley Demangone, and Benjamin Graybill; and a brother, Lynwood Schleeter of York. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Melissa Graybill and Justine Doll; one great-grandson, Jacob Licari; two brothers, Ray Schleeter and Bernard Schleeter; and a sister, Beverly Yost. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York with the Rev. Timothy Munson, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
