Pulaski Democrat, 1 Feb 1939 ROLLIN J. STARING Rollin J. Staring, aged 66 years, died at his home here Wednesday morning after a long illness. He had been a cheese manufacturer for thirty-five years, having made cheese here in Ricard, Carterville, and other places. For the last few years he had been employed in Rome at the wire works until ill health had forced him to give up his work. He was a son of Benjamin and Melinda Twilliger Staring. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ida Roser Staring; five sons, Benjamin of Sodus, Milton of Rome, Earl, Irving and Clifford of Ricard; three daughters, Mrs. James Lamphere of Rome, Misses Edith and Iva of Ricard; one sister, Mrs. Maude W. Bartlett of Syracuse. Services were held at the home... Friday and later at the Ricard Methodist Episcopal Church by Rev. N. James Polney. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
