Deeded land to Michael Upchurch 1660 after 1654 indenture.

Roger Delk being this day brought before us ye subscribed & comp being made to us by wm. Sherwood Sub sherrift of this County, ye ye sd Delke did this day say, ye we will burne all before one shall Suffer, ye sd Delke Acknowledged he said ye ame words, & being asked why they meet at ye church he said by reason theire taxes were soe unjust, & they would not pay it: he was demanded who was ye pson ye Invited thim to meet, he peremptorily denyed it: but ye sd Dlk did on his own behalfe & and on ye behalfe of ye others then mett declaire ye theire meeting was to be releived from paymt for Drams & Cyder wch they nevr had, allye Rest Assented to what he said, save only Michll Vpchurch. 23Sept. 1674.
