Roger had a child Elizabeth born 1622 with his wife Sara. It is assumed that Sara and Elizabeth died and Roger sailed to the United States. Due to accent, he was registered as Delke rather than Dilke and his descendants bear the name Delke. DNA studies reveal the Delke and Dilke name are of the same origin. There are many Dilke references going back to the time of William the Conqueror and further. The earliest DNA match is to "Cheddar Man" who was active about 8000BC.
