Robertson Asher is the brother of Dillion Asher, a Long Hunter and close friend of Daniel Boone. Dillion was one of the first settlers in Kentucky and managed the toll gate for the Wilderness Trail. There is an Asher Association and a reunion each year in Pineville, KY, near his cabin.
