Robert Williamson married Isabella Taylor in April 1860. They had twin sons in January 1861, one of whom died at birth. Their third son was born in 1862.
Robert Williamson left Scotland and Isabella Taylor. By1866 he was with Helen Pettit (nee Smart) and they had their first child - MaryWilliamson.
Isabella Williamson stayed in Scotland and lived with a Mr Gray.She died in 1878 and Robert Williamson and Helen Pettit married in NZ.
Aunt Nellie says that Williamsons first lived in Milton when arrived in New Zealand -according to records also had land in Ann Street, Sunnyside, Roslyn
