Robert P. "Bib" Wentz, of Hanover, passed away January 21, 2011, in York. He was the loving husband of Audrey Parr Wentz, who died on July 12, 2000.
Born October 23, 1926, in Hanover, he was the son of the late P. I. and Marie Crumrine Wentz.
Robert served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was employed in the family business, Wentz's Ice Cream, and was also an employee of Utz Potato Chip Company and was the owner of Audra's Ceramics.
He was a lifetime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, and will always be remembered as a great golfer who scored a hole in one.
Survivors include his son, Andrew Wentz of Provincetown, MA; and sister, Nancy W. Sandruck of Hanover.
Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
