Robert Turvey was listed in Pigot's 1830 Directory of Gloucestershire, as a "Livery Stables Keeper" in Wilder Street, Bristol. [1] He was based in the Full Moon coaching inn in St Paul's, just outside Bristol on the road northwards and he was listed as the pub landlord in 1833-4[2] and also in 1836. [3][4]. His wife "Susannah Turvey" was then listed as landlord in 1839-41.[5]. References
