ROBERT L. SZINK, New Haven. Robert L. Szink, 72, of New Haven, a World War II Marine Corps veteran, died Monday, Aug. 3, at home. The Fort Wayne native retired in 1986 from ALCO Distributors as salesman and was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 330. Surviving are his wife, Elna; daughters, Susan Dirrim of New Haven and Nancy Graham of Fort Wayne; a son, Ben of New Haven; his mother, Leona Crawford of Fort Wayne; a sister, Doris VanMeter of New Haven; and four granchildren. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Emanual Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 E., New Haven. Burial will be in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven. Memorials are to the church or Central Lutheran School.

Robert is buried in the Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.
