Robert2 Swan (Richard), born about 1626, probably in England; married Elizabeth, daughter of William Acy; was very early of Haverhill. He was a member of Rowley Church, until 9 May, 1675; residence, Haverhill … He married (2) in Haverhill, 1 Apr., 1690, Widow Hannah Ross. He died 11 Feb., 1697-8 (Haverhill R.), in the 74th year of his age (G. S. Haverhill). His will, dated 28 Sept., 1697, mentions wife, Hannah, and others. His real estate was divided, 21 Jan., 1724-5, into eleven equal shares (Essex Probate Files, 26896).
