Died in the Civil War. There was a Robert Standley in the 6th Missouri State Militia Cavalry USA and another in the 10th Missouri Cavalry CSA. Both were rank Corporal. According to the family story he was confederate, but his Ebaline received a pension from the Federal government. So, without seeing the actual records, I'm not sure which is this Robert.
