"Mary Anne McCue, daughter of James Wakefield McCue and Martha Lobban. She had fine educational and social advantages. Developed into a lovely woman with a very pleasing sense of humor and cheer. Married Robert Hardin Smith. They had a charming home, 'Redland, ' to which they cordially and sincerely welcomed and hospitably entertained their relatives and friends. They and their children were members of Hebron Baptist church. The parents and three children of their eight dead and buried in its church graveyard. - Mrs. Wm, S. Rodes." ...
