He was born on July 16, 1937 in Bowling Green to the late Haven and Margaret (Morgan) Smith. He is survived by a brother, Garland Smith and a nephew, William Smith, both of Fostoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Donald Smith and one sister, Janet Abney. Mr. Smith worked for 12 years at Daybrook in Bowling Green as a punch press operator. He also had worked at the Bradner Supermarket. He was a member of the Fostoria Eagles and a 1957 graduate of Montgomery Twp. Local School. Graveside services were held on Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Bradner Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne.
