    Robert Sellers served in Company D, Captain Mosley Baker's/Burleson's Regiment/ First Regiment of Texan Volunteers. This was the largest company in San Houston's Army. He also fought in the Mexican War of 1848.

    Robert Sellers maintained a plantation in Colorado County and in Fayette County. He also had a "hauling service" he operated between Houston and Austin, Texas.
