Robert G Ritzman, 87, of the Rutherford House, died Friday at Arbors at Cl yde.

He was born in Burgoon to Glenn W and Bernice (Feasel) Ritzman. He marri ed Loyola K Babione on Jan. 21, 1939, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She d ied Dec. 27, 2001.

Mr. Ritzman was an electrician, working for Kelsey Hayes until he retir ed in 1973. He also worked for the sugar plant, Herbrand Corp., Erie Depo t, J.E Baker and was a part-time farmer.

He served with the Civil Service Air Patrol and was a member of St. Jose ph Catholic Church, VFW Dads, having served as president, Fremont Moose a nd WAC.

Mr. Ritzman enjoyed fishing and model trains and airplanes.

Surviving are sons, Ronald R Ritzman of Clyde, James L (Marcia) Ritzm an of Port Clinton and Richard A (Wendy) Ritzman of Fremont; daughters, Sa ndra (Glen) Watson, Nancy (Sheldon) Winklea, Roberta "Bobbie" (Gerald) Len z, Ladonna (Dennis) Michael and Suzzette (Dennis) Pfefferle, all of Fremon t; 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchild ren. He is preceded by his parents, wife, Loyola Ritzman, daughter, Yvon ne C Ritzman, two grandsons and daughter-in-law, Kay Ritzman.

Visitation: Was Monday at Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home.

Services: Were today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Bruni ng officiating.

Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery.
