Carriage & Buggy Makers & Painters Carriages and Buggies differed from wagons as they were a bit finer in their construction. These conveyances were used for Sunday drives or special trips to town perhaps. The carriage or buggy makers were different then the wagon makers, they created a finer and more delicate work. In many cases, the painters of these crafts were talented artists in their own right. Message 2008

Recently, I found your information on Ancestry World Tree Project concerning Henry Renick and his family. I am pretty sure this Henry is the son of Robert Renick and his wife Mary Hamilton. I have a great deal of information on this family, as my maiden name is Renick. Robert & Mary (Hamilton) Renick are my 3 great-grandparents. Do you have knowledge of Henry's parents. I believe Henry married Catharine Clemens, August 24, 1816, in Champaign County, Ohio. He was actually born in Greenbrier County, W.V. He moved with his family to Clark County, Ohio around 1801 (Springfield). If you are a Renick descendant and have an interest, I have lots of wonderful information.

Thank you for posting the information, on his family and I hope to hear from you whether you are a descendant or not.

S Renick
