Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Ratcliff (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from the counties of Lancashire and York, England. Some focus is on (but not limited to) the ancestors and descendants of Richard Ratcliff, who immigrated from Lancashire in 1682 on the ship "Submission," and settled in Talbot County, Maryland. Some Ratcliff families also lived in Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, North and South Carolina, Rhode Island, Tennessee and Virginia in the 1600-1700's. During the 1800's, some migrated into Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, the Indian Territory (Oklahoma), Texas, and Wisconsin. Later descendants also lived in Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Illlinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, and elsewhere.
