[This source claims Ruth was Robert's second wife. But the first wife is not named, nor is a marriage or death recorded in Lynn. This supposition is apparently based on the baptism of "Samuel, s. Robert", on 28 May 1657, found in the Lynn VRS2. There appears to be no further record of this Samuel, so no explanation yet for this situation. This source also says that in 1634 Robert became a freeman, which is obviously wrong given this Robert was 4 at the time.]
