8 JAN 1656. Received an assignment of land from Edwin Conway in Lancaster County. He married the widow of Vincent Stanford (probate of Stanford’s will in 1658). Returned to England, leaving his son Robert in January 1667/68. o the tuition of Nicholas Haile (Lancaster Order Book 8:55) (Witt to Cambier, 1995).

By wife Stanford, owned 210 acres of landin Lancaster County, which he sold to David Fox, adjacent to Poplar Neck, per land patent to David Fox 8 SEP 1663 (Nugent I: 411; PB 4:37)

10 FEB 1662. Lived on land of John Phillips “now in possession of Robert Pollard” in a patent to Robert Prichard (Nugent I:441; PB 5:142.

29 DEC 1665. Owned land adjacent to patent to David Fox on NW Branch of Corrotoman River, also adjacent Capt. Jennings and Mr. Mathew Kemp. (Nugent I:541; PB 5:455).

“Robert Pollard returned to England, leaving his son Robert to the tuition of Nicholas Haile” Witt to Cambier, 1995, citing OB 8:56, daed 8 JAN 1667/58.
