- Will of Robert Miller Senr of the County of Mecklenburg and province of No. Carolina... to my loving wife Mary Miller four cows & calves, one Riding horse, one breeding mare, her choice of the whole stock, her saddle and bridle, a good bed & furniture, one half of all the pewter, tin, earthen & wooden ware, the negro wench & child, 2 iron pots, a spinning wheel & 2 hogs, the house now built with the cleared lands on the upper end of the 800 acres on Tiger or little river with constant firewood during life, the negro wench & child & property to be hers during life, then to my son Nathaniel Miller, the upper end of the 800 acres on little or Tiger River...
- to my son John Miller, 200 acres of land running across as aforesaid adj. Nathaniel Hillers line with one half of the waggon of the half price thereof & the big Iron pot & negro woman after my wifes decease & not before; to my son Robert Miller, 400 acres on Tiger or little River, & 10 proc. money to be paid in 12 months after my decease, to my daughter Mary, £10 proc. money; remainder of 800 acres to be sold to the best advantage & price thereof to be equally divided in the following manner: to my son James Miller, one third; to my grandson Samuel Neely, the other third; to my grandson James Meek the son of Adam Meek, the other third; the childrens money to be put in trust by their parents; to my daughter Ann forty shillings proc. money or 20 shillings sterling; to my grandson John Miller the son of my son Robert, £10 proc. money; if the negro should have another child in my lifetime to my grandson Samuel Neely; seven shares to my wife Mary, a part; to my son John Miller, to my son Robert Miller, to my son James Miller, to my son Nathaniel, to my daughter Elizabeth, to my daughter Mary...
