Robert Meager was baptised on 29th July 1655 at Benington in Hertfordshire, son of Mary Meager, formerly Day, and her husband Anthony Meager, a husbandman. He died aged 14, being buried on 30th August 1669. Quite likely there was some sort of illness in the family - his brother John had died the previous month and his sister Mary would die the following month.
