Mary Meager was baptised on 26th December 1658 at Benington in Hertfordshire, daughter of Mary Meager, formerly Day, and her husband Anthony Meager, a husbandman. She died aged ten years old, being buried at Benington on 14th September 1669. Quite likely there was an illness in the family; her brothers Robert and John had died in the preceding two months.
