The Bolivar Bulletin Thursday, September 28, 1876

McANULTY - At Rev. R. Moorman's near Hickory Valley, Tenn., September 10th, 1876, Robert J. McAnulty, son of D.W. and Mattie McAnulty. Aged 7 years, 7 months and 11 days. 

   Though fond mother was present when grim death approached, yet Christ

and His angels were there to soothe the last moments of this dear bright child. Grieve not that you can not see him. He is just across the river in the shining fields of light, away from earth's ills and cares, and waiting to find at last a united household in that far off Home of the Soul. ANNIE.
