    Robert Mason, the father of Elizabeth Jenifer, came to Maryland apparently from Virginia, and settled in St. Mary's County. He was alderman 1689, and Burgess 1692, of St. Mary's City ; High Sheriff of St. Mary's County, 1692 to 1693, commissioned Justice of the Provincial Court of Maryland, April 16, 1691, and Burgess for St. Mary's County, 1694 to 1696. He died 1701, and his wife Susanna, 1716. ...
