Lehner Robert "Bob", 63, resided at R. 1, Kendallville, and died last Monday in McCray Hospital. Born in Allen Twp July 8, 1917, he was the son of Frank and Viola A. (Richards) Lehner. He married Joyce O. Boggs Dec. 6, 1938 in Columbia City. He was a lifetime Kendallville area resident and had been a mail carrier for the Kendallville post office for 21 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge No. 276, Kendallville Kiwanis, Noble Chapter OES, and Elks Lodge. He was a past Wayne Twp assessor and served as city councilman in Kendallville 1960-64. Surviving are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Gretta Gehring, Kendallville, and Mrs. Lois Shoener, Garrett; a brother, Harold "Andy" of Kendallville. Services were held last Tuesday in First Christian Church. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. + 12-?-1980
