BIOGRAPHY: KNIGHT, ROBERT: I am trying to research Robert Knight. I have found a Robert Knight that served in the army during the civil and entered servive from Fairbury in 1862 and was mustered out in 1865. He was in E company of the 129th ill. infantry. I dont know if he is the one I am looking for or not. The one I'm interested in was born in Paris, state unknown, Jan. 16,1836 and married Maggie Gibbs Sept. 19, 1867, location unknown. They had 5 children that were all born in Fairbury. Florence E., Jennette M.,Lucia I, Robert A., and Linnie R.. Linnie married a Walter B. Noble and they are my wife's grandparents. They had a son who was born in Pittsburg, Kansas in 1904. Any info you can find about this family would be greatly appreciated.
