• The Keith Baronetcy, of Ludquharn, was created in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia on 28 July 1629 for William Keith. It became dormant on the death of Sir Robert Keith, the fifth baronet in 1771.

[of Nova Scotia] who served, with distinction, in the Prussian service under his kinsman, the celebrated General James Keith, and subsequently in that of Denmark, in which he attained high rank, and became commandant of Hamburgh, Reinsburgh, &c. He m. Margaret Albertina Conradina Von Suchin, and had two sons,
