Obituary of Robert Jesse Hynote

Last Rites Sunday, 13 Jul 1958, afternoon at the Cool Springs Baptist Church
near Sale City honored Robert Jesse Hynote, 84, of Sale City who died unexpectedly
Saturday, 12 Jul 1958, morning at his home. Burial was in Cool springs Cemetery. Mr.
Hynote was a pioneer settler of the Sale City community. He was born 5 Nov 1874, in
Taylor County, Ga., but came to the Sale City area as one of the early settlers. Hr.
Hynote was a retired farmer and had a wide circle of friends in this area. Active
pallbearers were Noel Griner, Spence Griner, Ferdinand Moore, Raymond Moore, John
Franklin Moore and Robert Clark. Honorary pallberarers were Tim Barnes, Lon
thompson, Henry Hill, T. B. Brock, T. O.Kelley, S. L. Durden, I. M. Marchant, E. B.
Beasley, Earl Strickland, Albert Bolton, Julian Palmer, Frank Jones, Buddy Beasley and
Warren Davidson. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Kizzie Griner of Sale City;
two sons, Charlie L. Hynote and John H. Hynote of Sale City; four daughters, Mrs. Ed
Gaines of Moultrie and Mrs. J. L. Rabon, Mrs. Mildred Freeman and Mrs. Harry Morris,
all of Atlanta. Seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
