32. ROBERT HANBURY: (21 John) Founder of the Hanburys of Wolverhampton. He was the fourth son of John Hanbury of Elmley Lovett and his second wife., Elizabeth, daughter of Francis Bradley. He was baptized at Elmley Lovett on September 27, 1549. He was an iron monger at Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, and lived there until his death in 1601. He was buried in the chancel of the church of St. Peter, in Wolverhampton, by the side of his first wife. By his first wife, whose name is unknown, he had three sons and two daughters. He married (2nd) Agnes, by whom he had no children. Children (HANBURY) 33. JOHN 34. Robert, to whom his father bequeathed his seal ring of silver, and twenty shillings, if he should be living at the time of his father's death. NFI. 35. Walter, to whom his father bequeathed a pair of hempen sheets and a blanket, and "all that bed with other things which are in his custodie nowe at Oxforde"; also twenty shillings in money to be paid to him in three years, by six shillings and eight pence a year, most of his wearing apparel, a fourth part of his house liinen, and a silver spoon. NFI. 36. Mary, married William Normansell. They had one son, robert, and other children, whose names are not known. Her father bequeathed her one silver spoon, and to her children he left one-fourth of his house linens. NFI. 37. Joyce, married a man by the name of Cooke, by whom she had four children. Her father bequeathed her one silver spoon, and to her children he left one-fourth of his house linens. NFI.
