Robert Halin,Sr,82 of Bremerton died Jan 18,1997 at his home. He was born Oct 6,1914, in Detroit,Mich. He graduated from high schoold and served in the Navy from 1934-40. On May 10,1938, he married Marguerite Spaeth at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton. Mr. Hamlin was a machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and later worked for St. Vincent de Paul, retiring in 1977. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert,Jr and Bill, both of Bremerton;two daughters Kathy King and Rosemary Marsh, both of Bremerton; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County and St. Vincent de Paul of Bremerton.
